Yum Neau (Spicy Beef Salad with Organic Mix Spring Salad)

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs slices of beef steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 -1 teaspoon organic granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Thai fish sauce or light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon crushed fresh Thai chilies (adjust by your prefer)
  • 1 tablespoon Thai sweet chillies jam( Nam prick pow) , optional
  • 1 hand full organic spring mix green salad
  • 1 cup of organic tomato or your choice of tomato, cut into 4 wedges
  • 1 organic cucumber or your choice of cucumber, sliced into bite site
Preparation
Heat the olive oil in the pan over medium heat. Place the beef on the pan cook 3 minute each side medium rare, or as you prefer. Cut into small thin slices. Set aside

In the mixing bowl combine together the fresh minced garlic, granulated sugar, Thai fish sauce or light soy sauce, lime juice, Thai chilies jam (nam prick pow) and crushed fresh Thai chillies. Add a sliced grilled beef into the mixing sauce, toss it well
.
For serving, arrange organic spring mix salad , organic tomato wedges, a sliced organic cucumber and a sliced organic red onion on the serving plate. Place the beef mixture on top the layer of vegetable. Garnish with the remaining cilantro leaves.

Make 4 servings.
