Stir Fried Spinach With Garlic




This dish is one of our favorite of all time. It's very easy to cook.  Just a few ingredients that you have in your kitchen. My family give me a thumb up every times I cook it. It becomes one of my signature recipe. 
















Ingredients

3 handful of spinach leaf, rinse before cooking
2-3 gloves of garlic, sliced or smashed it
2-3 tablespoons of light soy sauce (Kikkoman brand)
2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • Add olive oil into a cooking pan on the medium heat.
  • Add in sliced garlic cook until it turns brown.
  • Add in spinach stir around until it turns soft.
  • Add in soy sauce, cook it thoroughly. Turn the heat off.
  • Serve it warm.

In Los Angeles, it calls Pra-ram dish. Price is between $7.95-$8.95. It's popular among American customers as well. Simply stir fried spinach with cooking oil until it turns soft without garlic and soy sauce. Add shredded stream chicken on top serve with Thai peanut sauce.

Thai Fried Bananas















Thai fried bananas is very easy to make at home. My friend brought me some of bananas from  her backyard. I just got an idea. Hey! it's time for making Thai fried bananas. In California, some of Thai restaurant put it in a menu  It's one of favorite Thai dessert in US as well.


Ingredients

1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup white rice flour
1/2 cup glutinous rice flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 salt
1 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 can coconut milk
1 cup sweet coconut flake
1 handful white sesame seeds

Vegetable oil for frying

Method
  • Mix all dried ingredients in the mixing bowl. Pour in coconut milk into the mixing bowl. Mix it well. If the battle is too thick. May add a little bit more water tap into it. Make sure the battle not too loose or too thick. 
  • Put the vegetable oil into a deep pan about one inch high on stove medium heat. Drop in a small battle into the pan when it turns brown, remove it. Start frying banana.  
  • Cut across the length of bananas about 3 pieces per one banana. Dip a sliced of banana into the battle and carefully place in the hot oil pan. Add four to five sliced of bananas following. Do not add to many bananas at one time. When it turns brown, Turn over the other side. When both side turn brown.  Remove it out of the pan and place it on paper towel.
  • Served it warm.

Variety 

  • You can use fresh pumpkins, sweet potatoes, taro root. All of them get along very well with a battle.
